In remote and underserved parts of Namibia, vehicle-based clinics make scheduled visits for immunisation, family planning and basic treatment. In 2018, a resident told local reporters that conventional clinics could have queues so long that patients went untreated, while the mobile clinic’s line was much shorter.

Instead of making people travel far to a hospital, the clinic comes closer to them. Care is still delivered one person at a time, and the shorter queue remains the visible entrance to treatment.
