Bangkok's Rung Rueang Pork Noodles began as a street cart more than fifty years ago and grew into a permanent shop. It has appeared in Michelin's Bib Gourmand since 2018, and a 2026 report documented a long line waiting outside. Customers come to the simple open-fronted restaurant for noodles with fish balls, minced pork and tom yum broth.

The queue is produced less by luxury than by half a century of repetition and trust in value. Although a street stall entered an international rating system, the service remains close to its roadside origins, and seating capacity has not caught up with the reputation.
